Alternative Rescue was founded by Bonnie Whiting who goes into kill shelters and rescues pets that are about to be put to sleep. Then they are adopted out to loving families in the Coeur d' Alene, Spokane area. She rescues mostly small dogs and is located in The Coeur d’Alene Pet Resort She has since rescued over 200 dogs from California, Washington and Montana. Hopefully in the near future our rescuing will be Nationwide!
