Thank you for trusting us with your pet
It was 15 years ago and a love for animals that led Dave and Dawn to start CDA Pet Resort. Together they created a pillar in the community where pet owners can be at peace knowing their beloved pets are safe while they are away.
Indoor & outdoor play groups, cage-free boarding, grooming and training offer a complete destination for your pet care needs. Our facility has 16k sq. ft. of indoor play areas and boarding rooms along with 5k sq. ft of outdoor space with artificial grass. With a variety of boarding rooms we can accommodate needs ranging from size, multiple pets, and temperaments. You can book a groom with one of our highly regarded groomers so that your pet goes home smelling oh so fresh!
We are an active dog park format where safety for our team and your pets is our priority so let us share a few key points for our new customers....
UP TO DATE VACCINE RECORDS FROM YOUR VETRINARIAN:
Dog vaccination records from your Vet are required to be on file with us and updated by you annually. Required vaccines include Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo and Rabies. This is part of our promise to ensure a safe healthy environment for your dog. This is also a requirement of our licensing.
Feline vaccination requirements include Rabies and FVRCP (Feline Distemper)
You or your vet can email your pet's vaccine records to cdapet@gmail.com or fax 208-667-6761.
TRIAL:
A trial is required for all new dogs before boarding or daycare. This allows our staff to ensure your dog is a fit with our current pack and match your dog's personality with the appropriate play group. High anxiety, aggressive, non socialized or territorial dogs are some of the reasons a dog may not be a fit.
Free trial by appointment only
Monday - Friday, 6:30a-12:00p, Saturday, 8:00a-12:00p
Trial is up to 4 hours
ACCOUNT SET UP:
Please set up an account online by clicking the below REGISTRATION button. This will allow you to create a profile, provide boarding instructions and keep a credit card on file. We partner with a tier one merchant service with end-to-end encryption to protect your personal data.
THE NOT SO FUN BUT IMPORTANT STUFF:
Dogs are animals. They form packs, can become territorial, grow older and develop anxiety when their "family pack" leaves them. Sometimes too much of a good thing can lead to unwanted behaviors as they become too comfortable (territorial) at our facility. If there is an issue with your pet we will work with you as a partner to understand what is needed. In most cases a break from our facility is all that is required. Our facility is an active facility and older dogs are simply not a good fit due to the active physical play by other dogs.
One of the reasons we love living in North Idaho is the abundance of wild life throughout the community. Your animal can pick up a virus or bacterial infection from anywhere...dog parks, neighborhood walks, neighbor's dogs, squirrels or deer walking through your backyard and sometimes even doggy daycares. We have a daily and weekly disinfectant program and require all animals to be up to date on vaccines. If your animal is coughing, sneezing, has nasal drip or "seems like they have something caught in their throat", please keep them home and speak to your veterinarian.
Your pet's safety and that of our team is our #1 priority. There can be scenarios when a dog's temperament will change and we may not be able to accommodate a pet. Ultimately, socializing your dog at any Doggy Daycare is a risk you will need to consider.
Overall, we have over 15 years' experience along with hundreds of happy customers and pets which have become family. We love what we do and creating a safe, fun, happy environment for your pets is our goal.
We look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
